Hump Day Giveaway: (Almost) Wordless Wednesday
Yesterday, when our site was a veritable Vogue, it was clear to me that you ladies got the style thing down.
What isn’t so clear to me, based on the number of self-doubting Facebook posts and other random comments I’ve read while monitoring our amazing community: Some of you don’t have the confidence thing down. Lots of self-described wanna-bes and comments like I’ve-only-run-a-5k and I’m-so-slow-I’m-not-a-real-runner things going on out there.
I get where you’re coming from, but I want you to get this simple equation: If you run, you are a runner. Doesn’t matter if it’s a mile or a marathon. Doesn’t matter if you break the tape or bring up the rear. Doesn’t matter if you measure your miles in 12-minute increments or 7-minute increments.
It simply doesn’t matter. If you run, you are a runner.
So here’s an outfit from Brooks to make you look like the (stylish and confident) runner you already are.
The Glycerin Diva Jacket, a semi-fitted mid-weight jacket with all the necessary features (thumbholes, internal waterproof MP3 pocket, plenty of storage) and the kind of style that makes you think, “Oh, I want that,” when you lay eyes on it. Coordinating on the bottom is the Glycerin Skort, a skirt that doesn’t forgo function: a zipped back pocket holds your keys, another internal storage pocket holds gels or cash, and grippers on the inner mesh shorts holds the shorts in place so they don’t ride up. (Amen to that!)
So what do you have to do to win this sweet set-up? Simply write in the comment section one short, but oh-so-powerful sentence: I am a runner. (Feel free to elaborate if you’re so inspired.)
And next time you start hemming and hawing and convincing yourself that you’re not a real runner, remember that you already told our supportive tribe, the Internet–and, by default, the universe–that you are. All you have to do is believe it.

P.S. #1: I feel like the annoying kid on Halloween who has already taken 4 pieces of candy and then asks if she can have more when I ask this, but social media is a 3-headed beast that can’t really be tamed. (How’s that for a random sentence?) So if you haven’t become a fan of ours on Facebook, please trot on over here and do that. And if you’re a tweeter–and I totally understand if you aren’t–please follow us here and here.

P.S. #2: Five lucky women who will be cooking from the Good Neighbor Cookbook (and their favorite go-to meal):
1. Kia: For us it is a Southwest Quinoa and Black Bean Salad. I put the recipe up on my blog last week http://bodhibear.net/2011/01/southwest-quinoa-black-bean-salad/
2. Liz: My easy go to meal is for sure bean and cheese burritos. I just have to remember to have done the necessary steps of soaking beans overnight and crockpotting them in the am. but my favorite meal to make is homemade calzones. I love to add sundried tomatoes, artichoke hearts & sauteed peppers & onions and of course cheese.
3. Sara Barnhill: My go-to quick dinner is breakfast. My family of six easily goes through a dozen scrambled eggs, two packs of bacon, and ten biscuits. To make it healthier, we use turkey bacon and whole grain bread. It’s cheap, fast & easy to make, quick clean up, and a good dose of protein/carbs. I usually make this after an early evening workout. Not one of my four kids ever complains & it always gets gobbled up.
4. Jessica Whittaker: Our go to meal is homemade pizza for sure. My daughter (4) will eat just about anything, but my son (16 months old) wants nothing but pizza. He only says about 5 words, one of which is pizza! But just like the other said, it is easy on a week night and both kids can stand on chairs on the counter and get flour and sauce all over them as we build the pie.
5. Erin Johns: I have an AWESOME one. Crock Pot Chicken Tacos!!
2 Boneless, skinless chicken breasts
1 14 oz can of diced tomatoes
1 onion, chopped
1 red pepper, seeded and chopped
2 cloves of garlic, minced
1/4 cup of orange juice
1/2 teaspoon cumin
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
Throw all of these in the crockpot and cook on low for 6 or 7 hours. Before you serve, shred chicken with 2 forks (super easy!), strain liquid out and serve with corn tortillas, shredded cheese, salsa, whatever else you want with tacos. I always use fat free greek yogurt instead of sour cream. You can’t even tell the difference and it’s actually pretty fantastic for you instead of a fat and calorie bomb like sour cream!
Congrats! E-mail us your address at runmother at gmail dot com.
Also, our Born Fit winner from two weeks ago is still MIA. One more call for Katie R, whose go-to clothes are: Pretty much every day after I get home, I don a pair of gray fuzzy pants and a pink fuzzy hooded sweatshirt. This outfit is warm and comfy. Please get in touch, Katie, or we’ll pick a new winner shortly.
I am a runner! And I feel like I have to be a stylish runner because I am often see at school dropoff and pickup, in the grocery store, Target, drycleaner, etc. IN MY RUNNING CLOTHES! Because I am often doing errands on my way to or just after a run!
I am a runner. And I plan to keep running for a long time. I run like a mother.
I AM a runner…..and I am strong!
I am a Wife, I am a Mother, I am a Sister, I am a Daughter, and I AM A RUNNER!!!!
I am a runner. Although I’m not a runner, I hope that I am sowing the sseds of being a lifelong runner so that if and when I become a mother, I will continue also to be a runner.
*MOTHER* Ooppps – I meant to write that although I’m not a MOTHER, I hope that I am sowing the seeds of being a lifelong runner so that if and when I become a mother, I will continue also to be a runner.
I am a runner! And, I am a better person because I am!!
I am a runner who likes to go big or go home.
I am a runner…hear me breath heavy!!
I am a runner. (no run or coffee yet so I can’t get my brain to elaborate)
I AM A RUNNER!
🙂
I am a runner! I may be slower than some but I’m out there.
I am a runner, no matter what others may think.
I AM A RUNNER!
I am a runner, slow and proud!
I am a runner! (Unfortunately one whose treadmill just broke and it is only 9 degrees outside!)
I am a runner! And a mom of four boys! I am superwoman! 🙂
I am a runner!
Running makes me a better wife and mom, I am a runner!
I am a Runner because over the years my body has held me up, brought me down, carried me mile through mile, and bears the day to day stress of being a mother, wife, teacher, sister, daughter, and athlete. being a runner rules!
I am a runner! My routes, no matter how long or how short, no matter if I had to walk a bit along the way, are a VICTORY for me and always an inspiration for my NEXT run!!!
I am a runner. I became a runner all on my own. I never give up.
I AM a runner! Running = freedom!
i am a runner (someone please tell my knees and ankles that!).
I AM A RUNNER!!!!
4 months ago my motto was “why run if no one is chasing you.” Today, I AM A RUNNER! Since then I have run in 4 5Ks 1 10K and in 2 1/2 weeks I am running my first half. What a difference a few months make!
I am a runner! I am free!
I ama runner!
I AM A RUNNER!!!! Newbie…but I am a runner and I RLAM!
I AM a runner! 🙂
In high school I couldn’t pass the one mile run for the Presidential Physical Fitness test. Two decades later, with 12 years of marriage, 2 children, and a 40 lb. weight loss under my belt, I ran my first half marathon in 2:03. I am happier now than I ever was at age 16, because now, I AM A RUNNER!
I am a runner to keep my head clear!
Great timing on this post. I haven’t run in almost two weeks thanks to the weather (I live in CT) and work insanity. This morning was my big comeback. I was slumped over this morning trying to convince myself to get dressed and get out there and this post popped up! Ran with my head up and full of confidence (and a bit of pain)! Thanks for the continued inspiration!!
I am a runner!
I am a runner because I started running last year at age 41. Last week I ran 4.4 miles on a morning run and I felt like Super Woman. I fantasize about running when I’m not, and when the weather is bad, I can’t wait for it to get better and get out there again.
I am a runner!
I am a mother, friend, wife, cartographer, photographer and I AM a runner.
I AM A RUNNER!!! And I LOVE it!!!
I am a runner. And I love it!
I am a runner!
I am a runner, and I love it when I get out there!
I AM A RUNNER!!!!
I am a runner! I was self doubting the other day, asking my husband when I could call myself a runner. His comment, “you got up and ran at 5:30 a.m. and then after experiencing that, you chose to get up and do it again?! You’re a runner.” He made me smile!
Lynne
I am a (new) runner!!! 🙂
I am a runner!
I am a runner. And I plan to be one for a long, long time. Running has changed my life and made me a happier person, and is a big part of how I define myself.
I AM a runner…with many miles behind me and, I pray, many more ahead.
I AM A RUNNER!! And I love, love, love it!!
I am a Runner: thru High school, College, Career/Baby days/ minivan days/teenage angst days (theirs – not mine)/midlife crisis days/how will we get them thru college days/ and now Mother in law days……. slow runs and even slower runs were the one steady thing in all these years.
I’m a runner- cuz I keep on kickin’ after all the proverbial lickin’s!
I am a runner! (And this post made me teary-eyed.)
Me too! I was one of the “I’m not a real runner” posters, so I felt like this was directed at me. Yet, I am a big hypocrite because I frequently advise the new runners on FB that if they put one foot in front of the other, then they are runners. I guess I need to practice what I preach (after I wipe my teary eyes, of course!) Rock on, running mama! 🙂
I AM A RUNNER!!! Never EVER thought I’d be saying those words! Running a 4 mile valentine’s run with my hubby on Saturday!
How did the run go?
I am a runner, and as of this week, a new “bootcamper” too! Hoping it will help my running. 🙂 I may be slow, but I’m a runner.
I AM A RUNNER…I’m getting faster and stronger every day.
I am a RUNNER! after years of running, I finally believe that * I AM* a runner.
I am a runner. Because I would be a beast to live with if I weren’t 😉
I am a mommy and a runner!
I am a runner (who is looking forward to getting back outside after these sub-zero temps and snow-covered roads are a thing of the past)!!!
I am a runner, but I run really slow. This is how I usually explain my running ability. This post is such a gift to me. Thank you, Dimity.
I am a runner. No apologies. No explainations
“This post is a gift”…. I LOVE it. And every day our bodies let us run is a gift. Treasure it!
I AM A RUNNER.
I think I can…I think I can…Yes, I AM A RUNNER!!!!!
I AM A RUNNER!
I am a beautiful, proud, bada%# mother runner!
I AM a runner!
I do not run. I AM a runner.
That’s my mantra for when the going gets tough or I have some doubts going on
I am a runner. A *slow* runner. BUT, I am a runner.
I AM A RUNNER!
I AM A RUNNER!
I run at the speed of molasses….but, nonetheless, I AM A RUNNER!!!!!
I am a runner. I might not be at the front of the pack, but I never quit.
I AM A RUNNER!!!! (I actually yelled that at my husband last night when he tried to tell me I was a jogger, not a runner :))
I am a runner.
I am a runner! 🙂
I started running (at 40) because it was the biggest bang for my buck to battle weight gain. Last year I joined a running group and ran my first race EVER, a half marathon. Since then I have discovered RLAM, laughed daily at our mutual triumphs and struggles, continued training and a can finally say, “I AM A RUNNER!”
Kathy…we have a lot in common. I started running last year at 40–and lost weight and I did my first marthon in January. Congratulations on all your triumphs!
I am a runner.
I *AM* a runner!
I am a runner! It doesn’t matter that I strain to do 10 minute miles or that my training has slacked to a couple of times a week on the treadmill during the winter….I am a runner nonetheless!
I am a runner! Running makes me strong, confident, and keeps me young 🙂
Preach it sister!!! I’m a runner. You’re a runner. We’re all runners TOGETHER!!!
I am a runner. And a swimmer. And a cyclist. Love it!
I am a runner! And I am a mother. And I KNOW being a runner makes me a better mother, wife, daughter and sister.
I AM A RUNNER
I am a runner! Those four words make me feel so powerful! I am going to repeat them over and over again when I am running my first marathon in May.
i am a runner – slow and steady.
I AM a runner. . . I AM a runner. . . (hey look, – a new mantra!)
I am a runner.
I am a runner. I’m a momma, a wife, a friend …..and soon to be a marathoner. I AM a runner!
I am a runner…and I like to look good while doing it. That’s a huge bonus!
I am a runner…and I have the legs to prove it! It sure would be nice to win a cute little skirt to show them off when I am out there doing my thing! 😉
I AM A RUNNER!!! It is a huge part of who I am, and a part I really love. And I love everything Brooks and totally have had my eye on that jacket. 🙂
I am a runner because when I finally got the nerve to tell all my friends and family that my goal was to run a marathon, I got a bunch of negative “good luck with that’s”, but didn’t let it stop me!
I am a runner! (a year ago this month, i started running 30 second intervals…i am training for my 2nd half marathon and, even though, I am not a speed demon, I AM A RUNNER!)
I am a runner! And it makes me a better person, wife and mother.
I am a runner and a fabulous mother.
I am a runner… and my daughter wants to be one too!
I am a runner!!
I am a runner and so are all of you mamas!!
I am a runner! When it’s easy and when it’s hard. When my knees hurt and when I am strong. When I am less than motivated and when I have finished a run. My brain is wired “runner.”
I am a runner! And I actually used that in a sentence the other day when I was waiting for my first Spin class to start. I think it was the first time I ever said it unapologetically and without considering whether I am fast enough, race enough, log enough weekly miles to make the statement true.
Love this post! And LOVE that outfit!!
I am a runner…one who feels mostly wordless this Wednesday! 🙂
I am RUNNER! One step, one mile at a time!!
I AM a runner…Thanks for the friendly reminder! 🙂
I am a runner! (While it took me a long time to feel like I was qualified to say that, now I truly believe it!)
I am a Runner and I enjoy my strength training.
I am a runner. I used to think I had to be faster to call myself that. I always used to put an asterisk on my runner status…I could run far (ice completed 9 marathons) but not fast (my PR is 3:53). Now, after having 2 kids, I realize its not the distance or time that makes one a runner, its the internal drive and determination.
I think 3:53 is awesome time for a marathon!! But I definitely agree that the determination and drive is what makes one a runner.
I am a runner…although I have days where I doubt myself (yesterday) and days where I ROCK it!
I am a runner! On Monday I ran 6 miles for the first time ever. I walked in the door afterward and said to my husband: “I just ran 6 miles. I’m awesome!” How’s that for self-confidence? 🙂
You are awesome!!! That is great, I haven’t made it to 6 miles yet, that is my first goal (beginner here) so GOOD FOR YOU!!
i am a finisher
I am a runner!
I am a runner! (and a super cute one in an outfit like that!)
I AM A RUNNER…and make it fun by running in pigtails (I’m 35!)
I am a runner! I am more balanced and my mind is strong because I am a runner!
I am a runner! I know this because I just rocked a 5K with a new PR of 26.43 and I actually did it in that exact Brooks skirt and their really cute matching “RUN” shirt!
I am a runner! It has been almost a year since I started running (again)!!
I am a runner. It’s taken me a few years to really believe it.
I am a runner. AND SO ARE YOU!
I am a runner! And I’m going to be an off-road triathlete this year.
I am a runner … a real runner and I have the toenail to prove it. 🙂
I am a consistent.
Oops. Not *a* consistent. Just consistent. 🙂
I am a runner
I am a runner!!
I am a runner! A badass mother runner!
I AM A RUNNER! I ROCKED OUT MY 6.2 LAST NIGHT TO THE INSPIRATION OF BIGGEST LOSER!!
I am a runner, an no injury, crazy work schedule, crazy home schedule, or bad weather can take that away!
I am a runner. And a lover, and a fighter.
I am a runner. I am more than I ever dreamed I could be and I learned that with every mile.
I am a runner. I struggle. Sometimes I quit for a while. But I always come back, because at heart, I am a runner.
I AM A RUNNER!
Not only that, I am an athlete. This needs to be my mantra. Even after several years of running races, triathlons and open water swims I have trouble convincing myself that I am an athlete. I have no idea why, but that descriptor is hard for me to feel comfortable with. We put in the time and effort and don’t give ourselves the credit that we deserve.
I am a runner 🙂
I am a runner!
After watching the movie, “Spirit of the Marathon”, I now do call myself a runner. There was an older gentleman on there running with his daughter. They called themselves The Sweepers, because they came along close to the back and swept up the dead bodies! LOL when he had said that!
First marathon, May 15, finish line is Lambeau field …. Super Bowl Champions!!!!!!
I am a runner.
Even in the depths of February darkness when the miles are low and the pace is slow, I AM a runner.
Amongst all the amazing women who read this Blog, I am A runner.
Even when I stop to rest (for a moment or a week or a month), I am a RUNNER.
Rock on, Mother Runners.
I am a RUNNER!!
I am a runner! I’m a fairly new runner (started running last June, but already have 2 half marathons under my belt!) so sometimes I feel like I haven’t put enough time in to use the runner label.
I AM A (strong, fit, healthy, happy) RUNNER!!!! WHHOoooooooo!
I am a runner and i would love to run in that super cute outfit!!
I am a RUNNER!
I AM A RUNNER!! 🙂
I Am A Runner!!!
I AM a runner (albeit, a slow one, but one nonetheless) 😀
I AM A RUNNER (and it feels SOOOOOOO good!!!!)
I am a RUNNER! I am a better mother in so many ways beacause I am a runner.
I am a badassmother runner!!! (though i stil lneed to get the shirt to tell the rest of the world that!)
I am a runner! WooHoo!!!
I got my belt buckle and I did it all night long!
CONGRATS! I love your phrase!
I am a runner!! And it has made me a better wife, mother, and ME!!
I am a RUNNER!! And I LOVE it!!
Even tho I am only running once a week and am currently putting on winter weight like it is going out of style, I AM A RUNNER.
I am a runner! never thought i would utter those words, but so proud to!!!
I am a runner!
I AM A RUNNER! And I cant wait for spring so I can break out the jogging stroller and take my baby girl running with me!
I AM a runner, who is discovering what it means to “run like a mother”.
I ran my first 10K at the end of the 1st trimester and stubbornly ran my PW (personal worst) 5K to celebrate the end of the 2nd trimester, while pregnant with our first child.
My current running challenge is to train for my first half marathon, beginning at 6 weeks post partum, which has been my biggest physical challenge EVER!!
I am a runner.
I am a runner!
I am a runner and my daughter is proud of me! (and so am I)
I am a runner! (Wow! That felt good!)
I tried once before to comment on my phone but was so excited about the skirt that I think it sent before I even commented (but I am not sure it even sent the comment)…so here is try number 2 (please disregard try the blank comment that may have come through). I AM A RUNNER!
I am a runner – going strong for 14 years!
I am a runner and triathlete. And I have to tell myself this over and over to make myself feel better about that damn number on the scale.
I am a runner, even when I don’t feel like it. I didn’t feel like it yesterday but I did it anyway. And I’m glad I did. 🙂
I am a dog partner running girl!
I am a runner and therefore a role model to my kids and students. My legs will take me as far as I need them to go (even a marathon in September!)
Keep going one step at a time sister!!!!
I am a runner….
because I get up and just get out there,
because my family asks what my time and place were in a race,
because my kids think I can actually win a race!
because I’m addicted to sneakers and moisture wicking fabrics and
because when you talk the talk AND walk the walk, it becomes real.
I hear you sister!
I am a runner…..and better for it.
I am a runner! Thanks so much for all of the help and inspiration here!
I am a runner…injuries and all.
I am a runner.
to quote Kristin Armstrong:
I am not a “good runner” because I am me, I am a good “me” because I am a runner.
i AM a runner!!!! Makes me so proud to write that!
I AM A RUNNER!!
the hardest part is getting out the door…and then, like magic, I AM A RUNNER!!!!
I AM a runner! A beginner but I still RLAM!
I AM A RUNNER!
I AM A RUNNER
I am a runner in my heart. I’ve always been a walker but I desperately want to run. To be able to run a few miles. I had a boost of adrenaline in the Nike Women’s Marathon and ran mile 10-11 but have had trouble getting there again. I keep working on it. I’m training again, I’ve registered for the Seattle Rock & Roll Full. Big Sur is my dream Marathon and I’ve told myself I will do it, as my reward to becoming a better runner.
I am a runner reconnecting with that side of myself.
I am a runner…. and a new mother
I am a runner….and trying to make everyone around me one too!
I am a runner
🙂
I am a runner and I am proud of it.
I am a RUNNER! and thanks to run like a mother for all the wonderful encouragement and the RLAM Moms on Facebook too.
I am a runner, a mother, a wife, a sister, a daughter, a coworker and a friend: I am me.
I am a bad ass mother runner! 🙂 I AM A RUNNER!!!
I am a runner (since 1976)! I ran my first marathon in 2010 after running many other shorter distances. What was I waiting for? Thought it was going to be too hard on my body. Already signed up for 2011 M.D.I marathon. Go me!! I’m awesome!
I am a runner. Though, at 7 months pregnant right now I’m more of a “wogger”….
I AM A RUNNER.
I am a runner…. with three talkative, Dora obsessed, princess wannabes chasing me at all times….
I am a runner 🙂
I am a Runner.
I AM a runner! Hear me roar!
I am a runner!!! I love the way it makes me feel and I hope the good Lord will let me do it FOREVER!!!
I am a runner.
I am a runner!
(what a great post; I kinda got choked up. You are so right; we are all runners! )
I am a mother, a wife, a friend, and a sister…I can’t be good at any of those unless I am a runner!
I am a RUNNER!
Thank you! I am a runner!
I am a Runner – and lovin’ it!
I am a Runner!
the road is my therapist … i am a runner.
I am a runner!
I am a runner. This is never more evident than when something KEEPS me from running. Then I get stabby.
I AM a Runner!
I am a runner! It’s making me whole again.
I am a runner…a strong, healthy, happier mother runner!
I AM a Runner!!!
I am a runner. Thanks for the reminder!
I AM A RUNNER!!!!!!!
I am a runner!
The best part of my night yesterday–my boss introduced me to one of her friends and said, “oh, you will like her, she’s a runner!”
I am a runner! And on the days I don’t run …I am a runner.
I am a runner! Even when I forget my jog bra and have to wear my normal bra for a 5 miler (like yesterday)… I may not always have it together, but I’m always a runner..
HA HA! I forgot my bra, too! But I opted for the lower-impact eliptical instead of a run… I didn’t need The Girls to hate me.
Who knew how hard it would be to write “i am a runner”! thank you for the encouragement and wisdom.
I AM a runner!!
As a fifth-grade teacher, I often tell my reluctant readers and writers, “If you read, then you’re a reader” and “If you write, then you’re a writer”. Taking my own advice…I RUN, SO I AM A RUNNER! Thank you thank you thank you for this simple reminder to ALL of us.
I AM a runner! Speed is relative, distance is relative, and I thank my legs everyday for taking me there.
I am a runner. 🙂
I AM A RUNNER! And on days when I need to take a walk break, I AM STILL A RUNNER!
I am a wife, a daughter, a sister, a friend, a worker, a mommy, and maybe a few more things I am forgetting, but at the core I AM A BAD-ASS MOTHER RUNNER!!! Thanks for the reminder!
I am a runner. And I have the quads to prove it!
I am a runner. Really.
I am a runner! That felt great!
I am a runner. I always feel a little surge of pride when I say that. 🙂
I AM A RUNNER….and if you want to question that…bring it on…but you’ll have to catch me first!!
I am a runner! Some days it is hard to remember that a runner is simply someone who gets out there and runs…I can’t compare myself to others…or myself in the past…sure in my college days, pre-kids I could run a 21 minute 5K and last year I PRed with a 26 minute (I started my PRs over again…I figured it wasn’t fair to compare myself to my pre-child self when it had been 11 years between 5Ks…And by the way I practically shouted for joy when I hit that 26 minute mark). I have to love who I am now…because this body may no longer be fast, but it grew 5 fabulous children, and has the stretch marks to prove it!
I am a runner!
I AM A RUNNER!!! 🙂 It took me a couple years to feel that, but I am now! …and I LOVE running in my skirts! Even in the winter! I just layer. 🙂
I am a daughter, sister. wife, mother, mother-in-law and grandmother. I AM A RUNNER!! My 4 yr old grandson always asks when he sees me on Saturdays “Did you run yet, Mimi?” If not, he wants to go with me. I run. He rides his bike. We run to the park, play and run/ride home again. When we get home, we have a little snack that always ends with “I love running with you, Mimi! I love you sooooo much!” I hope I am an example to him and his baby brother that exercise can be fun and is always worth the effort. I hope these Saturdays continue as he grows older and we can run together 🙂
I am a Runner!
I am a runner!…haven’t tried a running skirt yet, though 🙂
I am a runner.
This is something I have a VERY hard time convincing myself of. I’m currently signed up for a half marathon in August, but so far the only training I’ve been able to do is hiking/snowshoeing with my dog — there is far too much snow around for me to run right now. But its okay — no matter how much actual running I’m not doing now, there will be plenty of months and weeks ahead where I will be able to and I will FINISH in August.
I am a runner… I am strong! 😀
I listen to the Foo Fighter’s when running. Can’t remember the name of the song but then end lyrics are “Who are you?” repeated three times. In my head I respond, “I’m a runner.” Maybe I need to start saying it out loud…
It took me a long time to believe it, but I am a runner!
i AM a runner.
I am a runner, and I hope to still be one when I’m 80!
I AM a runner, I am so teary after reading theses posts. I had told myself most of my life that I could not be a runner. Thank You, fellow runners!!! 🙂
I am a (mother) runner!
I am a runner. And proclaiming that was the first step, twelve years ago.
I am a NEW runner. I ran my first 5k this past October and I’m training for my first half-marathon in March. Trying to gain the whole confidence thing each day;)
I am a runner. I am a Mom. I haven’t run anywhere but back and forth to my car with kids for a while. But…I have new running shoes, a gym membership that I use, and plans to run my first 5k race (I used to run a lot when I worked for an outdoor leadership company but never races). I will become an active runner again THIS YEAR! Bring it ON!
I am a runner. (Yeah, it’s true.)
I am a runner – and one tough mama!
I am a runner! And it’s only taken me almost 2 years to be able to say it…
I am a runner beyond where I thought my imagination could take me!
I am a RUNNER! (even though I never thought I could be!)
I am a runner.
Okay, that does feel good to say. Thank you 🙂
I am a runner! I always have been and I always will be.
I am a runner and I am HAPPY.
I AM A RUNNER!!! 🙂
I am a runner. I may not be the fastest runner, or the most graceful runner, but I’m out there trying so that makes me a runner.
I am a runner. It does feel good to write that – thanks!
I am a runner. No matter the pace or distance, even during a slump, I’m a runner.
I am a runner and I still can’t believe it. But i love it 🙂
I AM A RUNNER! I may not keep my boyfriend’s 7 minute miles, or my BFF’s 10 mile ultra paces, but I keep my own. When I put on my iPod and tennies – and SKIRT – I own that time… don’t bother me – I am a runner!
100 mile ultra’s – oops! ONE HUNDRED… 100… not 10.
I am a runner. That feels pretty good to say! Thank you!
I am a runner! Where there’s doubt everywhere else in my life, I know that much is true.
i AM a runner. Every step I make gets me forward.
I am a runner.
I had my “ah-ha” running moment at mile 11 of my last half marathon. I looked around at all of the participants: big, tall, fat, skinny, fast, slow and it hit me like a ton of bricks – we are ALL runners, no matter the skill level, distance, etc. If you run, you are a runner.
I am a runner! And I’m going to stop adding “but I’m really slow” every time I say that phrase 🙂
I am a runner! Really? Really.
And I actually teared up when I read this because it’s absolutely 100% how I feel – like the fact that I haven’t technically run outside yet makes me feel like a “pretend” runner, but I am currently running 2.75 mi 4 days a week on the treadmill, so by definition I AM a runner. Right?
I am a runner. No, I did not win the race but I am still a runner.
I am a RUNNER!!
I am a runner and if Katie does not run the Born Fit jacket that I have been coveting and even going to local shops to check out but it is not there yet (which is weird since they are a local company) then I will happily take it. I’ll even split the prize so you can give the pants to someone else 😉 **and thank you for the cookbook 🙂
I am a runner – maybe a half-time runner (the other 1/2 I walk) but I am following dr’s orders and I am dedicated so I MUST be a crazy mother runner 🙂
I am a Runner!
I am a runner! wow….
I AM A RUNNER!!
I am a runner. Me. I run…therefore I am a runner. Look, I said it…twice! And without any qualifiers! 🙂
I am a runner….back of the pack – but still a runner.
I am a RUNNER…
I love to run for FUN
I love to run for a PURPOSE
I love to run in honor of our SOLIDERS
I love to run for ME
I am a runner and it’s taking me places I’ve never been!
I am definitely a runner. Despite the fact that I’ve been heinously injured and can’t afford physical therapy and went from a PR half marathon to unable to run a mile in two months. Sigh. I’m looking forward to the day I can run again!
I am a runner. AND a Mom, and a wife, and a friend and a daughter and a RUNNER. I run because 5 years ago I thought I would never be able to walk normally again after a back injury. I run because that little girl in gym class who never felt good enough is still inside me. I run because I have a little girl who I want to know that it doesn’t matter if you run, sprint, hobble, walk, crawl the most important thing is you are always doing your best for yourself and you are good enough. I am a runner and I love it.
I am a runner, struggling to rediscover my past discipline.
I am a runner and because I am also a mother, sometimes I feel like I am a combination of warrior/ninja runner!
I am a runner!
I am a runner, although at times I feel like Monica in that episode of Friends where she is in a dance class and the teacher says she is doing it all wrong and she yells back, “At least I’m doing it!”
I am a runner! I’m slow but how many 50+ women ran a 1/2 marathon last weekend!
I am a runner (and running is MINE).
Running keeps me sane; 7min/mi or 12min/mi no matter 🙂
I am totally a runner!
I am a runner and I truly believe it!
I am a runner! My kids say I am, so it must be so.
I am a Runner! It’s what has made me feel strong and confident in my weight loss journey. I’ve been embracing my body for where it’s at right now; It’s strong enough to take me from one step to the next, so it’s good enough for everything else! I’m amazed at how much impact that’s had on all areas of my life.
Im a runner. I am staring down knee surgery in 3 weeks and I am scared to death. I needed to say this today. Thank you.
I am a runner! That feels awesome to say! It gives me the confidence to get out there every day and go for it! I love being a runner and will be a runner for a very long time!
I am an Ironman and a runner, and I WILL qualify for Boston this year. There, I said it. 🙂
I am a runner!!!!!!!
My Facebook status after some speed work on Monday:
“Dear God: I know I will never be a great runner. I’m ok with that. Can we compromise and you just make me a ‘not crappy’ runner?”
Either way, I AM A RUNNER.
A runner that has stuck with the plan. A runner that has lost 11 pounds since January 4th. A runner that will keep running, even though I hate it, because that’s what I do. Someday, I will like it – maybe. 😉
I could not survive without running, therefore, I am a runner!!!
I am a runner… for my two little boys, for my husband, and especially for myself!
I am a runner! I have many doubts about that some days, but knowing that I got up at 5:30 and ran in 17 degree weather with an aching knee and plantar fasciitis to only run 3 miles, means I can totally claim it today!
I am a runner…a mid-packer and proud of it…and I really would love to win that outfit ‘cuz its so cute!
I am a runner!!!!
I AM a runner, I know it and so do my knees!
I am a runner. First and foremost I am a believer in Jesus, a wife, a mom, a daughter, a sister, a friend. Running is what makes me do all these things well.
I am a runner! 🙂
I am a runner…and it keeps me sane.
I AM A RUNNER!!!
Okay, I loved this one.
I am a runner.
I am.
I run, therefore I am… a runner!!!
I get so fixated on whether or not I’m a “REAL” runner based on my times. I tell myself that I’m not a real runner unless I run sub-9-minute miles. I find myself envious of others who run 2 miles everyday and confidently call themselves a runner. I need to own up to the fact that I’ve run 2 full marathons, 7 half marathons, 1 10-miler, and 1 5K and that I’m a REAL Runner no matter what the time is on the stop-watch. Going to mark my car with that 26.2 magnet I’ve been hiding because I’m afraid that people will see my sticker and ask about my time…. I AM A RUNNER!
I am a super fly runner!
I am a runner. I am a runner that is overcoming 30+ years of chronic daily asthma. Little by little I’ve been able to change my diet and my attitude and overcome my fear that if I move too fast or too much, I may have an attack. The possibility is still there and it happens, but I’ve been getting stronger day by day…and now I’m able to run. I run slow, light on my feet and meticulous. I run barefoot (or with minimal shoes if it’s cold) and I feel more free than I’ve ever felt before. I never thought I’d ever be able to run. Now, I’m a runner.
I am a runner! And it has taken my years to feel comfortable saying that.
I AM A RUNNER!!!!!
I am a runner! It is a very important component that makes me who I am.
I am a runner. I am a wife. I am a mother. I am a friend.
I am a runner. (But I totally know where the people who say they aren’t are coming from. Don’t take as long as I did to make the mental shift — about 15 years!!)
I am a grateful runner! I’m thankful for the ability!
I might not *look* like one. I might be a slow one, but I can do the miles. I AM A RUNNER!
I AM A RUNNER!!!!!!!!!!!
I am a runner. And don’t you ever forget it!! 😉
I am a runner! Outside, treadmill, trail, neighborhood sidewalks, sometimes in nice running outfits, often in whatever is clean, it’s all good! A run almost always boosts my mood and confidence.
I AM a runner!
I. am. a. RUNNER.
I AM A RUNNER! This was SO what I needed today and brought tears to my eyes. I am now feeling PROUD – NOT discouraged – of my 12 minute miles! 🙂
I am a runner. Wow. I am. Thank you. I kick ass.
I. AM. A. RUNNER!
I am a runner… I may be on hiatus due to injury & illness but I’ll be back better, stronger and more committed — hopefully soon!
I am a runner!
I am a runner. Repeat it, believe it.
I am a runner.
I am a runner…who needs that outfit!
I am a runner!
I am a Runner, even it is took we ten years to say it.
I am a runner. Even when I am injured, or lazy, taking a break, taking a bike ride. In my heart and in my actions, I am a runner.
I am a runner.
I run but I usually don’t think of myself as a runner because of my 11 minute mile pace and my
“not a runner’s body”. But I am and I enjoy it.
Sandi
I am a runner! Thanks for reminding me!
I am a RUNNER, wife, mother, daughter, and sister.
I am a runner! I know this when I see others running and I want to join in!
I’m a runner and I LOVE IT!
I am a runner.
I am a runner. Hear me pant!
I am a runner, that would love to try running in a skort 😉
I am a runner!!! And a better mother and wife because of it!
I am a runner! Whoot Whoot!
No matter my fears or my pains, I am a runner!
I AM A RUNNER!! (woo-hoo!)
I AM a runner!
I AM a runner
I AM A RUNNER!!!!!
and my four daughters KNOW it!
I am a runner.
It seems that against all odds – I am a runner.
I am a runner who got a thrill yesterday when I could see my strong shadow on the trail. Thank you sunshine!
I am a runner! Thanks so much for the reminder!
I am a runner! 🙂
I am a RUNNER who proved that I can get healthier as I get older!
I AM A RUNNER!
iIrun,In the heat in the rain in the freezing cold, I run if I am happy, sad, or mad, I run for the agony and the love of it, I run for me!! Therefor I am a RUNNER!!!!
I am a runner…and it feels great!
I am a RUNNER!. And I’m a runner suffering from her most serious injury yet 😦 first time since I started doing long distance that I am forced to stop running completely while I heal . But it has made me realize that, because I miss it so much, I am a RUNNER!
I am a runner!!!
I am a runner and would love an awesome outfit to rock during my next run!
I am a runner.
I AM A RUNNER!!
I am a runner. Twelve years and very proud of it.
I am a runner. I am a rower. I am an athlete. I am a mother. I am a badass.
Now hand me another candy cane Joe-Joe.
I am a runner, hear me roar?!
I am a runner…therefore I am!
I am a runner! As someone who always qualifies that statement (with the sorts of comments that Dimity indicated), it feels great to say it (or, rather, write it), and know that it’s true, regardless of my speed, size, or race history.
I am a runner!!!!
I am a runner:)
I am a runner! I love this outfit because I like to be a pretty runner!
I AM A RUNNER!!!!! It has taken me a long time to be able to say that. My “epiphany” came not as the result of a great run, a pr or any particular distance completed. It came when my parents were talking about all of vacationing in Colorado this summer (we live in South Georgia) and my first thought was “How awesome it will be to run there!”
I am a RUNNER!
I am a runner. Woot!
I am a runner, for life!
I am a runner! (And got a mommy buzz the other day when my 2 year old hopped on the treadmill, started to walk, and said “Look Mommy! I a runner like you!” Great moment).
I AM a runner. No matter my pace. No matter how far I go. I AM A RUNNER.
I am a runner!
I am a runner. Someday, I will run like a mother.
I am a runner!!
Hellsyeah, I am a runner!
I am *still* a runner even after the arrival of baby #3 has forced me to start building mileage all over again!
I am a runner!!! Always have been, always will be!
I am a runner!
I AM A RUNNER! I run to keep myself centered and happy–to relieve some stress….I teach 1st grade and have 3 children of my own. Running allows me to laugh everyday at all the little and big things that happen!!
I am a runner (an injured runner, but a runner none the less).
Most definitely I am a runner.
I am a runner – not very far, not very fast, but I know I will get there, one day. Hating it at times and yet loving it all the same.
I am a runner! thanks for reminding me!
I am a runner!
That’s not a statement I make often enough: I am a runner.
Thank you.
Really and truly, I am a runner.
I am a runner…. a BADA$$ mother runner!!!!
I am a runner! I hope to keep running and competing until I win my age group simply because I am the only one in it. 🙂
I am a RUNNER, and your book made me feel like it was ok to actually call myself one. Thank-you to you both!
I am a runner! (since October 2010)
I am a wife, a mother, a sister, a daughter, a friend and I AM A RUNNER!
I am proud to be a mother runner!
When I was 10 years old I felt it. My asthmatic lungs made me promptly forget it. Ah, THANKFULLY, 30 years later I remembered:
I
A M
A
RUNNER!
I am a runner. (I love writing that).
I am a runner… and really enjoy a cute skirt & matching top for race days!
I can’t believe I am, but it’s true…I am a RUNNER!
I am a runner.
My medal collection tells me so. (Did I mention that I’m a medal whore? I’ll do any course, if the bling is involved)
There, I said it!
I am a runner!! And I have bling (and toenails) to prove it!
I am a runner! 🙂
I am a runner!
I am a runner and my wife is a runner who is running to raise funds to beat blood cancer loves your book and I would love to give her the outfit. We both met you at the Iron Girl race in Seattle last year and you really inspired her. Thanks for all you do.
I AM a runner, chasing down big dreams. 🙂
I AM a runner!!!!
I am a runner! This post really motivated me when I needed it, and was quite timely as I found myself intimidated in the company of two people who I would have considered to be “serious runners” over the weekend. They were discussing the philosophy of being a minimalist runner and the marketing ploys of the shoe companies designed to take our money, and I felt like the most novice of runners since I wasn’t very knowledgeable about the subject (despite the fact that I have been running for the last 16 years, more than half of my life). I even uttered the words, “Oh, I run, but I’m not sure I can be considered a runner.” Today’s blog post makes me forget those words and turn my attitude around–I am a runner and no one can change that. Thanks for the constant motivation, ladies!
I am a runner. Even in -30 in cold and dark Alaska.
i AM a runner… and this is as much to convince myself that i am. i need to remember that, even on the days when i don’t “get” to, i still really AM a runner. and thank heaven for that. (AND thank heaven for all of you…excellent new Brooks gear or not!!)
I am a Mother, a Wife, a Nurse, a Daughter, a Sister, and a Runner! (hear me roar 🙂
I am a runner!!!

I am a runner – even outside, in the middle of a Canadian winter. =)
I am a runner!
I am a runner because some days it’s what makes me feel extraordinary in my otherwise ordinary life.
I am a runner, but it’s not always easy to be.
I am a runner!
I’m a runner!!
I am a sassy spunky runner!
I am a runner! It’s me, me, me time, and I love it!
I AM a runner!
I am a runner!
I AM A RUNNER so I can be a good mom, wife, friend, daughter, sister, etc!
I am a runner!
I am a runner. I run like an animal: a penguin. And I’m damned proud of that fact!
I am a runner… and THAT is what keeps me SANE:)
I am a runner! I just completed my first half marathon this past weekend!
Oh, yes – I am a runner!
I am a runner.
I am a runner. See that girl dodging the ice slicks, the parked cars, the stray dog and the erractic drivers? That’s me! Running down the middle of the less-traveled streets to avoid people’s unshoveled sidewalks. Nodding, waving and greeting other runners who share my same passion. Sweat pouring off me at 7 am with 95% humidity training for my first half-marathon. Trusting in my training at the start line. Relishing the feeling of crossing that finish line with all my glory!! I am a runner.
I am strong. I am content. I am proud. I am confident. I am a woman. I AM A RUNNER!
I am a runner! 🙂
I am a runner- and my family and my life are much happier because I am!
I am a runner (and new reader if this blog)! Yesterday – my 30th b-day – I ran 5K faster than I ran my first 5K when I started running 13 years ago.
If life is a marathon, bring it on. I am a runner.
I am a runner!!! I AM! I AM! I AM! And I can’t wait to really get back at it after I pop out this next baby!
I am a runner and I am better for it!!
I am a runner.
After 35 years of telling myself I was UNABLE to run, I learned 2 years ago that I AM A RUNNER!! Amazing that now that’s how others see me too!
Because of you RLAM, I am a Runner! Thank you
I am a runner and better for it!
I am a runner who is forever proud I had the guts to run that first mile and kept it going.
I am a runner…even if my body feels more like a turtle at times 🙂
I am a runner. If I have to, I can do anything. I am strong. I am invincible. I am woman. (nod to Ms. Reddy)\_(ツ)_/¯
I am a runner, and I am getting better at it everyday! I am awesome!
I love this – you ARE awesome!
I am a runner. I am a new runner, but soon I will be a wise and graceful one.
I am a runner!
I am a runner because I put one foot in front of the other, I keep going, I find the rhythm, then I feel whole.
I am A RUNNER! (I love saying that too – or especially now that I go to a COOP at the gym and other moms are like, “what do you like to do?” I always say, “I like to run!”
I am a runner. I am a mother. And I do a pretty damn good job at both.
I am a runner. But I don’t think that skirt does my legs any favors – my wife’s, though, that’s a different story.
I am a runner. Every day that I lace up my shoes is a good one.
I am a runner…..a mother runner!
I am a runner…on roads, trails, and the frozen lake in our backyard. I love it all.
I am a runner. I’m just a newbie, but 3 times a week for the last 28 weeks, I head out with my class, all the while praying I make it back to the car. I’m 5 feet of bantam and as strong as a giant.
I Am A Runner…and I Get To Run…thank you Kristen Armstrong and thank you Dimity for this post, it is a gift (and one of your best!)
🙂
Damn straight. I am a runner. Never thought I’d be a runner, but over the past six months and thanks to “bootcamp”, I’ve become a runner. I RLAM!
I am a runner! Which recently saved my sanity when I also became a widow.
I am a runner!!! I will always be a runner. My sanity, well-being and health depends on it! Without running, I can be quite unbearable. I run and I feel GREAT!!!! (Can you tell I just went for a run and those wonderful endorphins are working?!!)
I AM A RUNNER!
I am a runner.
I’m a runner! And, you’re post made me get teary 🙂
I am a runner! I didn’t call myself a runner until after I ran my first half marathon. I now have 3 under my belt!!
I am a runner…!!! And will be until I die.
I am a runner! Just not a very stylish one 🙂
I.Am.A.Runner!!!!!
Started exactly one year ago today & don’t regret it for one second! Lots of 5k’s down, one Ragnar Relay under my belt and doing my first Half this June. Hell yeah I’m a runner!!
i AM a runner 🙂
I AM A RUNNER!~
I am a runner. Because. I. Run.
I am a runner. (Because I get out there and do it!)
I am a runner; and becoming a runner has made me a healthier and happier person.
I am a runner! And I am almost a mother — 9 weeks to go!
I am a runner. No doubt about it anymore.
I am a runner even though I live in a bush Alaskan village and it is -10 degrees out. I have found a way to run.
I am a runner…because I CAN!!
I am a runner… Try and catch me.
I am a runner! And I soooo would love to win this outfit, because I just received my new Brooks Adrenaline 10 in the mail – they are light blue and grey, so this would match so well (which SBS would love 😉 )
I am a runner! YIPEEE!
I am a runner! (and a new runner at that!)
I am a runner! It’s not about speed for me, it’s about getting out there for some “me time” so I can keep up with my crazy life instead of my crazy life getting ahead of me. Slow & steady wins the race! I win because I run (like a mother!)
I am a runner. I am a a mother, a wife, and a teacher. I do all these things well because I am a runner.
I am a runner!
I am a runner and proud of it!
I am a runner and have stuck with running because I’ve experienced that awesome bond between all runners…runners build up other runners no matter what their difference in pace, mileage or size is. Runners love to see others out running!
I Am A Runner. 🙂
I am a runner…
I am a runner on no-running restrictions until March 8th, but I’m still a runner!
I am a runner!!!!!!!!
Run: I can, therefore I do.
I AM A RUNNER!!!!
I am a runner. One recovering from injury, but a runner nonetheless.
I am a runner even on the days I feel I have failed by not running fast enough or long enough.
I AM A RUNNER
I can’t believe that came out of my mouth (or off the tips of my fingers)
I am a runner and I LOVE it! Nothing feels better than the awesome post run feeling. Running fixes bad moods, takes away cramps, gets me some me time, gets my body outside even when it’s snowing and less than freezing. Love it, love it, love it.
I am a runner…and this -2 degree weather is killing me!
I am a runner! And I love being part of this running community of fierce women!
Wow, I am a runner too! Thank you for this self affirming post. Love it.
I am a runner! Not a jogger. =)
I am a runner!
and it’s cheaper than therapy!! 😀
I. Am. A. RUNNER.
I am a runner. You can tell that the most on the days I don’t run… I’m just not myself those days. (Can you see I’m in a lack-of-running-funk here? Sorry to complain!)
I am a runner!
I am a runner! I am still working on truly believing it but I am a runner!
I’m a runner!
I am a runner! For so long I would never had said that but now, I am a runner! Yay!
I am a runner.
I am a runner. Probably just happened in the last year or so, even though I’ve been running for 10+ years.
I am a runner!
I am a runner.
I am a proud, used to be a couch potato, 12 min pace RUNNER!
I am a runner, which is why I want to cry because my physical therapist told me today to cut my running down by 50%.
I am a runner! For 1 year this month too!
I AM A RUNNER!!!
I am a runner…thank you for reminding me!! I am guilty of making those statements in the past, “just a 5K”, “but I’m really slow”, etc. But I am currently registered for my second 10K and my second half marathon, so YES, I am a runner!! And I really want that adorable outfit, so I look good doing it…lol!!
I run like a mother!!!!
I know I’m a runner because I live by this ” Running is my anchor. It’s not what I do but it’s what makes everything else I do okay”. Running is my passion and makes me smile even during a snow storm.
I AM A RUNNER!!!
I am a (newbie) runner – still trying to find my stride but definately getting there. I will be 40 this year and until 18 months ago I said “the only way I would run is if someone was chasing me – in a car!” Now I can’t live without it and love it even more when I’m in a cute skirt!!
I am a runner–especially when The Killers’ “Human” comes around on the iPod (and Bruce Springsteen’s “Born to Run”)!
No matter how slow I go, I am a RUNNER!
I AM a runner!
I am a runner . . . and I love it!
I am a runner! Thank you for making me admit this.
I am a runner… and I love being able to inspire others to be more active too!
Running has saved my sanity and my life. I am a runner for life!
I am a runner and I am strong!
I am a runner and it’s all about me. That’s right. I said it. In this one area of my life, it gets to all be about me.
I am a runner!!!
I am a runner…something I never thought I’ d be.
I am a runner! Thanks for this post! It is great!
I am a runner. And I love it.
I am a runner! I’m pretty slow and I haven’t run a marathon, but I love to run. I have 4 small children and I suffer from a rare form of epilepsy but I know every mile I run is a victory for me.
I AM a shivering cold Canadian RUNNER……brrrrrrrr
I am a runner because God designed me to move!
I am strong.
I AM a runner!
I am a runner even when I don’t feel like it I run.
I AM A RUNNER therefore I breathe, live, enjoy!
I am (trying to be) a runner.
I am a runner. I run for myself, for my children & for my husband. Tomorrow, I’m running my 2nd half marathon and I’m ready. Onward & forward.
I am a RUNNER!
And I have to share a conversation I had last week. I am a “newish” runner, and training for a 25k right now. The only other race I have done is a 10k last year. So I was chatting with my new stylist at the salon last week about my goal and she tells me how she is not really a runner, but her cousin did finally convince her to train for a race by making it a “destination race”. They were going to travel to California (from Chicago) to run. So how far was the race, I ask. ” A marathon.” I responded, “um, if you ran a marathon you are no longer allowed to say you are not really a runner”. Since that conversation I have stopped saying “well, I’m not really a runner, but….”
I am a runner. I AM a runner. I AM A RUNNER! {thanks for believing in me}.
I am a runner.
I tell my kids that I am a runner.
My kids are runners.
I am proud of them and they are proud of me 🙂
I am a runner!
I know this for sure now that I don’t wear ‘sneakers’ anymore – and only wear my running shoes for … running!
I am (trying really, really hard to be) a runner!
I AM A RUNNER! and a better mom/wife because of it!
I am a runner! Oh yes I am!!!
I Am A Runner.
I am a RUNNER!!
I AM a runner! I am proud to Run Like A Mother, yes I am.
LOVE the book, btw.
I am a runner. I love Run like a Mother!
I am a runner! Hope I still have time to enter!
I am a runner…..mayber! I have signed up for my first half marathon and I am working on getting the runners high! 🙂 I want to be a runner, I want to enjoy it.
I am a runner!
I just wrote a blog post about this…. http://rebeccaruns.com/2011/02/22/im-not-a-runner-am-i/
I am a runner.
I was convinced that I’ve finally become a runner after experiencing incontinence during a 5K race and feeling like I was going to throw up in the end. It was all worth it because I got my PR! Yeah! 🙂
