LOVE this!! I just ran my first 10K with several of those! I love that those who don’t know me would never believe that I am jammin to some Eminem and Lady Gaga and Katy Perry and Rihanna and (even some DMX and more)…and oh, there is just something about that B.o.B. song that gets me going! Wishing you the best in your race!

I just have to put this out there… my friend just suggested I add it to my own running play list and I have to admit…first time I heard it on a run… it kept me going and smiling up hill the whole time 😀 Called “Because I’m Awesome” by the Dollyrotz. Hilarious and very upbeat! 🙂

I have to thank you for this suggestion. I saw it this morning and added it to my playlist before heading out for my half-marathon this morning. It’s great and totally put a smile on my face at about mile 12. Can’t help chuckling at the line about being “naturally deodorized”.

This one is too top 40 for me. I have an 11 year old and I’m always talking about how uninspired his music is. How about old school rap and R&B, like White Lines and Burn Rubber on Me, classic “alternative” like Burning Down the House, and relatively unknown rap like Alphabet Aerobics?

I’m pulling songs from this list for this week’s workout and to make a brand new playlist for my 5K on Saturday, where I’ll hopefully PR.

Glee’s version of Like A Prayer always gives me chills when I hear it running.
