Mother of: 3 self-described rugrats
I run like a mother because: it’s the only way I know how.


Mother of: 2 blondies
I run: no matter what. Even if I only have 20 minutes, I focus on improving my 5K time and get a quick 3 miles in for the day.


Mother of: 2 of, “the sassiest girls ever”
After a lackluster performance in a recent 5K: I told my husband that maybe I should just stop running. My six-year-old freaked. “No, Mommy! You CAN’T stop running!” I’m not the only one who knows it’s the key to my sanity.


Mother of: 2 girls, 3 boys
I run: because it keeps me sane in the hustle and bustle of daily life. By running I get to stand still.

Mother of: 2 future marathoners
I run (and bike and swim): so I have something to race for! Training for an event keeps me busy, and I absolutely LOVE seeing my family cheering me along the race route and at the finish! My kids have even crossed the finish line with me… makes me cry every time!
